Internship at EuroWind:
Interning at EuroWind means: becoming part of the team and actively supporting us in the daily business instead of merely making coffee or photocopying. In the past, our interns have typically worked on sound and shadow flicker assessments for our customers, spatially mapped wind farms for which we have compiled forecasts in a EuroWind wind atlas, or prepared visualisations of planned wind turbines with WindPro. It is important that you not only look over our shoulder during work but make active contributions yourself. As a result, every intern at EuroWind is entrusted with their own project, which they work on independently in coordination with the specialist department, as you can only grow from big challenges. The work is naturally remunerated and you will be given a qualified certificate after successfully completing the internship. But that alone is not enough: Our self-proclaimed goal is to remain in contact with every young talent after completion of the internship. Whoever has proven their merit with us is welcome to return.
Entry as a Working Student:
As internships are always restricted in scope, the insights into the company are naturally somewhat limited. Whoever needs a little more time is free to apply as a working student. Similar to the internship, we have also made it our goal to distribute individual projects so that the can test their limit themselves after sufficient introductory training. Of course, independence does not mean we will leave you alone during the work. Our team will be pleased to help during the entire placement student work if you have any questions and will even keep an open ear to give you valuable tips regarding your studies or your further professional career, if need be. Our premises: We can help you to help yourself. In this way, our working students learn to take on responsibility and make their own.
Accompanying Dissertations:
Dissertations not only denote a great deal of work for students, but also an important step towards independence. You need to push yourself, research independently and meet set submission deadlines. EuroWind would like to support this and therefore offers smart and hard-working students the option to analyse and process a problem relevant to our company in their dissertation. Do not worry, you will not have to reinvent the wheel! Yet you will be tasked with real problems from our everyday routine, and hopefully you will be able to amaze not only your professor but also us with your own formulated solution. To ensure that this is also successful, we will accompany you with support and advice during the entire writing period and will also give you the opportunity to present your finished work in a summary presentation to our Management. You can use this to distinguish yourself and possibly lay the foundations for a further career path at EuroWind. In all cases, however, you will receive a qualified certificate from us, which precisely describes the scope of your work with us and serves as an excellent reference for a later career in the energy industry.
